Some of the more important books that we like are listed here. Reminiscence of a Stock Operator is by far the timeless trading novel that teaches us invaluable lessons on the aspects of trading and also on human psychology. We've read it countless times and each time we are amazed by the accuracy of the emotional dilemmas a trader has to go through before making a winning trade. Written before the 1929 crash, the text captures a trader's mind so accurately that after reading this book, you will understand that the hardest part about trading is your own insecurity or fear. This book is as close to understanding the financial markets as I have ever seen and qualifies as our best investment over the years. A couple of technical books that we've enjoyed by technical pro-trader Laurence A. Connors are "Investment Secrets of a Hedge Fund Manager: Exploiting the Herd Mentality of the Financial Markets," and "Connors on Advanced Trading Strategies." The latter book especially gives us many innovative technical analysis in today's volatile markets. Other technical books are also listed below and as we review new "daytrading" titles, we will add them accordingly:
